MANNERTREU 1663.

MANNERTREU  1663.
This train runs on 15 inch gauge track. I took these photographs at Bressingham Steam Museum, Norfolk, England. The engine is a 4-6-2 Pacific design by Roland Mortens from Germany, built by Krupps of Essen, Germany.

  1. I like this a lot. In Fort Worth, Texas where I was born and raised they had, and I think still have a miniature train ride. I have no idea what gauge the track was, but the engine you picture here seems to be about the same size as far as width. I think this one is longer but that probably has more to do with the design that track width. Either way, I know it is fun to ride! It seems to me that I remember it being said that the train ride in Fort Worth was 5 miles making a round trip through the park area. Great photos as always. I love trains!!!
