ABBEY HOUSE MUSEUM. (part one)

Abbey House Museum is located in Kirkstall, Leeds, West Yorkshire England. The museum is housed in the Gatehouse of the ruined Kirkstall Abbey (which i shall be posting soon). The ground floor of the museum is set out as an area of Victorian streets, showing a range of shops and services of the Victorian Era. The lighting is dim inside the building to simulate the lighting of that period which was gas or candles, so if some of my photo`s are slightly poor it is due to that fact. You are not allowed to use flash, so i had to up rate my ISO rating so i would not get camera shake. The use of Tripods was ruled out because of the confined space plus other people using the museum. Some exhibits are behind glass so unfortunately got a bit of reflection in some photo`s. With this being a largish blog i am showing my pictures in three parts--Sorry.
