KENNACK SANDS.

Kennack Sands near the village of Kuggar on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, England is comprised of two beaches with some grassy areas which are divided by the small hill of Carn Kennack and a shore rock feature called Caerverracks. Well known amongst the surfing fraternity, Kennack Sands has a big tidal range due to its shallow angle and regularly throws up four to five foot waves. As is usual for beaches on the Lizard Peninsula, Kennack Sands also has its own shipwreck stories and the remains of vessels can be seen from Kennack Sands on especially low tides.

  1. This really a very nice looking area. The beaches are wonderful. I like the rock formations. On the second photo is that a cave that the path leads to? Neat looking regardless. I think I could very easily take a good nap at this place. Great location and photos. You do good photographic work, Les!

  2. Thank you Dave for the nice comments. No it’s not a cave just some deepish dugout, probably erosion.
