  1. As the old saying goes, “Everybody loves a Choo Choo!” To me they represent man’s entry into the real world of mechanical power. Especially the old ones that were steam power. A steam engine was almost unstoppable. The newer diesel/electrics are quite formidable as well, but I still love the steam powered ones the best. The 158A Midland is an attractive looking machine, especially with the color of the paint job it has. The Pacer is nice and sleek looking for a locomotive. 07013 looks like a typical “switching” loco. I’m glad those Rail Class locos are definitely fast looking and personally, though I love trains I would not be in one moving that fast. One inch makes the difference between on the rails or off. The Shunter is a neat looking machine and was probably a work horse. The mining loco is rather on the cute side, if there is such a thing as a cute locomotive. Is there? Great photos my friend!
